Boosting Local Commerce: A Campaign to Bring Life to Rural Towns

As an agency committed to the sustainable transformation of the territory, we’ve worked hard to promote local commerce as a key pillar of rural areas. This project aims to modernize and revitalize the sector to curb depopulation and ensure territorial sustainability. Thanks to a tender from the Diputació de Barcelona, we developed an initiative to give visibility to local products, restaurants, and shops by connecting them with the community through a prize draw.

We raced against the clock to adapt and prepare the entire campaign. A campaign carried out in 14 municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants in the province of Barcelona—specifically in the counties of Berguedà, Osona, Moianès, Bages, and Anoia.

The campaign included:

  • Designing promotional materials: We created a variety of materials in both physical and digital formats to support outreach and encourage participation.
  • Visual identity of the campaign: We developed a brand identity that reflects the campaign’s values—with a vibrant and dynamic design that conveys the passion of local businesses.
  • Campaign communication: We produced viral content and digital materials for social media, including short videos and animations to capture the audience’s attention.
  • Coordination with town councils: We worked closely with the municipalities involved to coordinate all aspects of the campaign.
  • Coordination with local businesses: We collaborated directly with local businesses, providing them with materials and information about the campaign, and coordinated with the Diputació de Barcelona to ensure its success. We also personally followed up with the 182 prize draw winners and traveled throughout the region to meet participants face-to-face. The result? 115 shops and restaurants involved and nearly 14,000 entries collected across 14 towns.

A positive and memorable experience for everyone involved!
