At the agency, we like to design with our heads… and our hearts. And the label for the new premium range Vinya del Drac is a good example of this. We were inspired by the real story of the vineyard where the grapes come from to give life to a design with a legend.

It all starts with the Drac de Vilafranca, a well-known figure in these lands. One fine day, a few centuries ago, the Drac was caught in the rain in the village of Sant Martí Sarroca and found shelter in Cal Tort de les Ferreries, the farmhouse of the producers’ grandparents. He stayed there for a while, and soon the neighbors, especially the little ones, started saying that they were going to see him “at Cal Drac”. The name stuck… and so did the story.

With this endearing anecdote as a starting point, we have designed a label that not only dresses the wine, but also explains where it comes from and what makes it so special. Because behind every glass, there is a vineyard, a family… and, in this case, a dragon.
